This listing is for one smaller jar, the little black or clear jar you see in the photos, of Quench Citrus Body Butter; Sunshine in a Jar. It's designed to both hydrate dry skin, and also to bring you some joy. This is a whipped body butter made out of shea, mango oil, sea buckthorn oil and other natural ingredients. It is very hydrating and has an uplifting, citrus aroma and is a sunny color.
 
I created this body butter to counteract some of the seasonal blues that hit late January and February for so many of us during the dark of winter but then we loved it so much, it's become year-round. It has Bergamot and special Orange Essence made from the juice of fresh oranges to uplift your senses and select Flower Essences from Findhorn and Australian Bush Flower Remedies. It makes me feel hydrated, uplifted and tucked in and my skin stays super soft all day long.
 
The shea butter and mango seed butter help your skin be plump and hydrated and the Sea Buckthorn oil give your skin a huge dose of Vitamin C and help with aging and dryness. Did you know sea buckthorn has 12x more vitamin C than an orange? With over 200 nutrients, these little berries can do wonders for your skin! 
 
We now keep smaller containers of Quench around the house and use it as a quick hand lotion. Because of the particular butters and oils used, it soaks in quickly if you use the small amount needed so it's a great spot-treatment for try hands or rough, dry areas on your skin. It also works marvelously over the lotion stones. If you hands are extra dry, use your solid lotion and let that soak in a moment, then add a layer of Quench and your skin will feel divine!! 
 
My body butter harnesses the power of sea buckthorn to promote skin elasticity and regeneration, reducing fine lines, sun spots and aging. 
 
This container will last you as you don't need much, a little goes a longggg way! I recommend you use it after the bath or shower to lock in moisture or before bed. And the scent is delicious!
 
This is whipped 4 times to make it extra fluffy, but when I pack it down in containers, although it does still hold air in it, it is a heavier consistency that hardens as it cools in the container, because of the richness of the ingredients. Just swipe your fingers across the top and rub your hands together, letting it create more of a sheen of oil, and apply.
 
The Sea Buckthorn Oil also gives you a temporary sunny glow. You will see some of the color as you rub it in, like you have sun-kissed skin but that effect fades quickly as it sinks in.
 
As it's all natural, if it gets too hot, it may melt and if it gets too cold, you may see some of the grains from shea appear, but they will melt as you rub it in. If you have an incident where your Quench melts, simply put it in the fridge to let it stiffen again and it will be just fine to use. It won't be whipped so you'll have a denser product that appears less in the container, but it will work just fine. :)

*Shea butter can sometimes get a bit grainy when it gets cold, but it will warm up in your hands and get smooth again. In body butters, if exposed to extreme temperatures, the consistency can change but the ingredients will still be viable to use.
