GRATITUDE PERFUME: A HEART SONG
For people going through hard things.
The scents in Gratitude Perfume are all inspired by Ojai. Driving the East End and smelling orange blossoms. Hiking the river bottom full of sacred white sage and damp sand. Hints of wild green herbs, lavender, and roses. I searched for years for just the right oils to represent each scent - to capture the essence of this valley that holds so much healing.
I thought it would be named for Ojai. But as I was making it, gratitude poured through me in streams of joyous tears - for all the people making it through all the hard things. In that candescent moment, it claimed its name.
