Theese are little solid lotion hearts you can carry with you in a small tin. They have essential oils selected to deter bug bites and come in these adorable tins. They are great to take on a hike or expedition in your pocket or purse. Handy to have just when you need them and helpful at keeping mosquitoes and no-see-ems at bay without having to breathe in bug spray. The only chemicals they contain are the volitile oils from essential oils. 
 
They are made of simple ingredients and steeped with essential oils that repel bugs. You can put them on your ankles and wrists and neck and they smell more like lemon and vanilla than most bug repellants. We don't find them as repugnent to smell and because you are layering them with oils, butters and a bit of beeswax, they tend to stay on for a longer time. 
 
We have used them in a sea of mosquitoes and gnats at sunset and though the bugs are flying around us, we haven't gotten bitten once we applied this. Just wonderful.
